New Opportunity for Orkney Partners

A new opportunity is now available for organizations and businesses in Orkney to become partners in NORA funded cooperation projects.

This initiative, born out of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between NORA and Orkney Islands Council in 2023, reflects our shared commitment to fostering sustainable development and strengthening the ties between our regions.

The fund aims to support collaborative projects that bring together partners from Orkney with partners in the NORA region. By working together, we hope to address common challenges and develop innovative solutions that benefit the North Atlantic and its communities.

We encourage our Orkney friends to seize this opportunity and look forward to seeing projects that deliver meaningful and relevant results for the region. Let’s build on our strong partnership to create a dynamic and sustainable future for the North Atlantic.

For more information on the fund and the application process, Orkney partners are invited to contact David MacRae (Sustainable Regeneration Funding Manager) at nordicatlanticfund@orkney.gov.uk
