North Atlantic Corona Challenge
Together with Highlands and Islands Enterprise in Scotland, NORA is launching the North Atlantic Corona Challenge from 29 to 31 May. Let’s improve our region despite the pandemic.
North Atlantic Corona Challenge is a digital team contest where the aim is to bring forth great ideas to save businesses, lives or communities in the North Atlantic in the midst of the Corona crisis. Our lives have been turned upside down just within two months, but all hope is not lost. In our rural, ocean-surrounded region we have different challenges than in an urban city-based society, and these challenges will be the focus of North Atlantic Corona Challenge.
Everyone living in the NORA region (Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands and the coastal counties in Norway from Rogaland to Troms and Finnmark) as well as Scotland are welcome to join, but especially young people from 18 to 30 years of age are encouraged to. You may have a team already, but if you don’t, the organizers can help you find your teammates. Everything happens online, so all you need is a computer or a phone to communicate with your team.
